Industry wants scientific & functional packaging
Packaging can be described as art and science of protecting products for storage, distribution and use. The main purpose of packaging is to protect and preserve the goods for logistics, warehousing and for end use.

FSS Regulations 2011: Incapable of indicating unsafe food
The Food Safety and Standards Regulations (FSSR) 2011, Packaging & Labelling, has been notified by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on August 1, 2011. On August 5, 2011, the Food Safety and Standards Rules, which were notified on May 5, 2011, in the Gazette of India vide GSR 362 (E), came into force.

Demand for custom-built systems on the rise
